Movement II of a cycle, Music for Mounds inspired by half plant-half human creatures who speak through colors, imagined and created by visual artist Trenton Doyle Hancock. Fallen Mounds is funeral music for the Mounds who were attacked by the Vegans, a bony ossified, colorblind creature who is banished from living above ground. The Vegans live in the sewer and eat tofu, periodically breaking above ground to sack the Mounds and steal their Mound Meat. Composed and arranged by Annalise Stalls.
